I cannot retrieve remote address or forwarded too addresses from Elastic Beanstalk.

When trying to retrieve remote_addr or forwarded ip addresses to receive the ip address of the visitor of my site, I get blank. How do I fix this so I can retrieve the IP address of the user accessing my site?
