What could be causing a KeyError: "InstanceLifeCycle"?

Hello, I have created an AMI that works well when launching instances from my account. The problem happens when I create the AMI Marketplace version. The instance launches without any problem and most apps work OK except the one using boto3. The error indicates KeyError: "InstanceLifeCycle" After looking it up, I still don't understand what this error indicates or how to troubleshoot it. Thanks.
