Is there an AWS API to query the price of the different AWS products?

Question

My problem is that I want something scriptable. 
I am familiar with:
* https://calculator.aws/ - seems to be interactive only
* https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-aws-price-list-api/ - Not clear how to use it efficiently. The API to get prices for AmazonEC2 returns more than 2GB for CSV and more than 3GB for JSON.

Is there anything more manageable?

The [Price List Query API](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/using-pelong.html) and the [Bulk API](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/using-ppslong.html) is the best you can do. There is no handy RESTful API if that's what you're looking for. The pricing results may be quite large, as you observed, but perhaps you can cache it locally after downloading once? If you run the code on an EC2 instance then it should be quite fast to download.
