Project Run Time does not start on Sagemaker Studio Lab

That is the case as of two days ago. This does not work for neither CPU nor GPU "compute type".

Basically, after pressing the "Start runtime" button, it says "Preparing project runtime..." for about ten minutes and then stops. It shows the following error, "There was a problem when starting the project runtime. This should be resolved shortly. Please try again later."

I have now tried it about a dozen or more  times throughout the period.

There is no way to even access the work that is saved there. The "project" will not boot up.

Basically it is a dud at this point.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? What does one do? Is there a way to reset the environment to original and restart (e.g., a factory reboot)?

I know this is an old question, but hopefully you got this resolved.  A factory reset is to delete your account and recreate it.  If you use the same email address then you will not have to wait for a new approval.
