Hello,
I have confirmed that AWS is not facing any issue in switching the regions currently.
There are some recommendation that you can follow to rectify this issue:
✶ Clear your Browser cookies and then restart the browser: https://its.uiowa.edu/support/article/719
✶ Instead of Chrome try using different browser to isolate the main cause.
✶ If you are under a corporate network or VPN please try accessing on a different network if you can.
✶ If you are using any kind of proxy settings please try disabling it.
✶ Please try clearing most the the browser data such as: cookies, cached images and files, other site data, Site Settings, Hosted app data, Browsing history and Download history: https://its.uiowa.edu/support/article/719
✶ Try switch the AWS regions in incognito window of browser.
