How do we turn off SMPP delivery message when using Pinpoint and SNS for 2 way SMS?

We are using AWS pinpoint and SNS to enabled 2 way sms. AWS Lex is used and it connects with AWS Pinpoint. However when a user replies to our origination number , they get smpp delivery receipt. This completely spoils the chatbot experience we have built.

how do we turn off the SMPP delivery message for the orignation number assigned to us?
