From the notes, I understand that you use AWS WorkDocs to distribute large files to your users, and would like to know if there is a way in which the download speed can be improved. Please note that the AWS Workdocs download speed can be affected by multiple factors i.e. the region your WorkSpace resides in, network connectivity.

For the best WorkSpace experience, you should be within 2,000 miles of the AWS Region that your WorkSpace is in. You can refer to the Regional Products and Services page for details of Amazon WorkSpaces service availability by region [1]. You also can check performance by using the Amazon WorkSpaces’ connection health check website [2].

Depending on your use case, S3 might be an alternative since you can use Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration. Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration is a bucket-level feature that enables fast, easy, and secure transfers of files over long distances between your client and an S3 bucket [3&4].
