How opensearch serverless manage snapshot?

Question

In opensearch, we can use s3 to take snapshots. Does serverless expose any API to take and manage snapshots ? Can we export the specific indexed data which stored in EBS into S3 or import specific indexed data which stored in S3 into EBS  in opsensearch serverless? Thanks!

Unfortunately, OpenSearch Serverless does not currently support taking snapshots.

Thus, users are required to establish their own logical backup and restoration methods, such as extracting data from Serverless using a compatible client like Logstash and storing it in S3.
