cannot find active resources in my account

0

I am trying to terminate my active resources before the free tier expire. In the 'Billing and Cost Management' dashboard, I can see that there are 10 active services, including a Elastic Computing Cloud in US East (N.Virginia). But when I check on the EC2 dashboard, there is none instances. In the same time, there is still 2 EC2 free tier offers in use, as shown in the photo. How should I locate the active service and terminate them? Thx. Enter image description here

Hello.

If you look at the image you can see that you have opened the Sydney region.
Therefore, please try changing the region of the management console to the Northern Virginia region by following the steps in the document below.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsconsolehelpdocs/latest/gsg/select-region.html

Specifically, you can select it by clicking on the region at the top right of the screen as shown in the image below.

  • I followed your guide and chose N.Virginia region. But still could not find the active EC2 resources. I have attached the photo in a new thread below.

  • Thank you for your reply. I have runned AWSSupport-ListEC2Resources according to your first link, and as for EC2, the output is 'No Resources Found'. Is this contradict with my previous photo, 2 EC2 free tier offers in use? Meanwhile, I have also contacted AWS techinical support by raising a case. Hope these steps could solve my issue. Finally, thank you and aws support team, your help has been speedy and thoughtful. Regards.
