Unable to create Workspace

After creating several workspaces, today I am getting the error message "An error has occurred. If you continue to experience an issue contact the AWS Support Team on the community forums and via AWS Premium Support at: AWS Support Center."

Not much info here. Does anyone have any tips on where to look for the error? Or what it might be?

If you have AWS support, reach out to them to look at the logs around the deployment.

  • Sometimes running the deployment again after 15-20min will make it successful.
  • Be sure to look at the Directory Service accounts and make sure that the accounts are not being used anywhere else in another WorkSpaces desktop.
  • Be sure you have enough resources available in your VPC like IP addresses
