I don't see tier benefits in my account

I just created my AWS account and I don't see free tier credits. Please let me know where to look or if I have to activate something. Thank you

Hello.

I answered the same question below, but the free tier will be automatically assigned to you for one year after you create an AWS account.
You don't need to activate anything, and your AWS account is automatically assigned a 1-year free tier.
In other words, if you use a service that is eligible for the free tier, the free tier will be consumed.

The target services are listed in the following documents.
https://aws.amazon.com/free/?nc1=h_ls&all-free-tier.sort-by=item.additionalFields.SortRank&all-free-tier.sort-order=asc&awsf.Free%20Tier%20Types=*all&awsf.Free%20Tier%20Categories=*all

If you use AWS beyond the free tier, you will incur charges, so we recommend setting up a mechanism to detect this.

  • I'm creating a PostgreSQL server and I'm not sure if I get charged or not.

  • In the case of RDS, if you use the settings shown in the image below, you will be in the free tier. rds
Also, if you select "Free tier" at RDS startup, the settings for the free tier will be automatically selected. free

  • I chose Aurora(PostgreSQL) and I didn't get the free tier option. Now I got it. Thank you.

  • Yes, unfortunately Aurora does not have a free tier. https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/free-tier-rds-launch
