Using a Gitea Repository in aws code pipeline

I want to use the code from a Gitea repository in AWS code pipeline without using any third party software. I was facing some problems using web hooks and Lambda(Also problem with Layers in lambda). Can anyone please share steps to do this. In one approach I used code commit to store the clone of the repo but failed.(here also I used web hooks and lambda) In another approach I used webhooks for s3 but faced problems. What will be the best solution for this problem?
