Hello! We need some more information to help you.
- What type of instance are you using? Is it Lightsail?
- What is the CPU utilization in CloudWatch over the last few days until now?
- What security groups are you using? (The rules specifically)
- Have you checked the VPC flow logs?
- Do you have any health checks set up?
- Are you using a firewall service?
- Do you mean you cannot log into the instance via SSH or you can login to the WP control panel?

Thanks David for your response, 1. I am using EC2 instances 2. Its hovering around 50% which is unusual otherwise it remains very low 3. have created a custom security group with respective ports for 80/443/20 etc 4. No I did not ( I am not aware of) 5. Yes we have health checkup setup with alarm, all checks are passed 6. I am not sure, unless there is anything default 7. I can not log in from SSH and neither can connect to WP-ADMIn, basically the IP seems unreachable, though its an elastic IP and there is no change.
I would try restarting the instance. It's possible that it crashed on a software level and has not recovered. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/instance-console.html
