I understand that you would like to know if there is any Hard limit on the number of schemas that can be created in Aurora Postgres instance.
I have researched on the query and could confirm that there is no hard limit set for the number of schemas that can be created in Aurora Postgres . Your understanding is correct in terms of Postgres limits as no such hard limit is imposed.

However, The higher the number of schemas you create , Higher the resources consumed. As long as you have sufficient storage ( In case of Aurora, storage is auto scaled so this not an issue ) and Right instance class there should not be any issues with 'n' Schema creations.

The link you reference is AWS-specific for our Aurora PostgreSQL (APG) managed service. Since APG is built from open source PostgreSQL, it inherits all the hard limitations of PostgreSQL. These are listed for each specific major version in the community documentation which can be found at https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/limits.html.
Please note that the time it takes to perform a major version upgrade in PostgreSQL is dependent on the number of objects in your system (i.e., # of databases, schemas, tables, indices, etc.) so please factor that into your database design decisions!
