IVS: Adding Image Source Starves Stream

I have got a basic setup using AmazonIvsBroadcastClient. The stream works fine with a single video input device. But I want to add an image source for when the stream is paused. Whenever I add an image by using AmazonIvsBroadcastClient.addImageSource(), it starves the stream. Or If I add image before starting the stream, It never starts the stream and the stream doesn't show up in AWS CLI list-streams too. However, the preview shows everything correctly.
