Root Email No More In Use

Question

I have an AWS account. The root login email account is not is use anymore. When trying to login it is asking for the verification code sent to that email root email id which we cannot access. 
So we are unable to sign-in and use the resources. We just have the 12 digit account id. Please help to access my account.
