Rds stuck in upgrading state after upgrade from 5.7 to 8.0

I am trying to upgrade my rds mysql 5.7 to 8.0. After fixing the problems from pre-upgrade check i started a new one but it stuck for more than one day on pre-upgrade checks. However, the log of pre-upgrade check is not updating anymore Now the same db from the same snapshot (different cluster from the one above ) is stuck on pre-upgrade check when it should fail after ~5 minutes The only thing i can do is to delete instances one by one (it not allow me to delete the whole cluster) I didn't find any log that explains the reason of this behavior
