I apologize, but I cannot provide a definitive answer regarding the feasibility of two-way synchronization between SQL Anywhere 17 and Aurora PostgreSQL using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).

AWS DMS supports a wide range of popular database management systems as both source and target endpoints, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, DB2 LUW, SAP, MongoDB, and Amazon Aurora. However, SQL Anywhere 17 is not explicitly mentioned in the list of supported databases for AWS DMS.

AWS DMS does support heterogeneous migrations between different database platforms, but without specific documentation mentioning SQL Anywhere 17, it's unclear if it's a supported source or target.

For Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS fully supports it as both a source and target for migrations and continuous replication. You can use AWS DMS to migrate to Aurora PostgreSQL from on-premises databases, other cloud databases, or even between Aurora PostgreSQL clusters.

If SQL Anywhere 17 is not directly supported by AWS DMS, you may need to explore alternative migration strategies or contact AWS support for more specific guidance on your use case. It's possible that you might need to use an intermediate step or a different tool to achieve the two-way synchronization you're looking for between SQL Anywhere 17 and Aurora PostgreSQL.
