Support for ECDSA keys in key-pairs

Question

I started using a hardware key (yubikey) for access to all services.
I encountered an unpleasant situation - the key-pair service does not support ECDSA keys (ed25519 support on the yubikey side does not work normally (and is not implemented in the yubikey central management software), rsa keys are prohibited for use by the security department)

Could AWS add support for ECDSA keys?

Unfortunately, when it comes to EC2 Key Pairs (used for SSH access to EC2 instances), AWS currently only supports RSA keys and ED25519. Here is the link describes the keypairs https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/verify-keys.html
