How to remove instances when using the crowd-instance-segmentation widget?

I am trying to use the crowd-instance-segmentation widget for getting instance segmentations.

Users can add additional instances of a label using "Add instance." However, if the user selects too many instances, how can instances be removed? There seems to be no functionality for removing extraneous instances.
