Difference between ARN and uri

Question

I seem to be confused regarding arn and uri in aws. A s3 object have both arn and uri . so what's difference between ARN and URI ? And also what roles do they play ?

The [Amazon Resource Name](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/reference-arns.html) (ARN) is used to uniquely identify AWS resources. A Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) provides a name to an accessible resource.

In a summary of the differences, an ARN is used within the AWS Cloud infrastructure to identify/access resources, while the URI is used externally identify/access these resources via APIs.
