Getting Access denied error while using aws cli for enabling MFA delete on S3 bucket
- Created user and that user having administrator permission and as well S3 bucket full access.
- Created S3 bucket with default setting.
- Trying to enable MFA delete via aws cli but getting access denied error.
I have analyzed in net and found, root account should enable this. But I am having all rights in my tenant account but still i am unable to do. Kindly provide suggestion to resolve this.

Please try using the AWS account root user as described in this document.

The AWS account root user is the user who signs in using their email address.
Please check that you can sign in by following the steps in the document below.

It seems that you are using MFA with CLI.
Did you properly configure CLI to use MFA ? See https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/authenticate-mfa-cli for all details

Hi Didier, Yes I have properly configured but used IAM user for doing for MFA delete. As suggested above, will check with root user and share my feedback.
