Instance upgrade from 5.7.44 to 8.0.28 caused Elastic Beanstalk application to have Internal Server Error

On 4/22/24 upgraded 5.7.44 instance to 8.0.28. Upgrade was said to be successful. When checking website for Elastic Beanstalk, where I use this application, I see "500 Internal Server Error" In the server log, I see this error at the time of upgrade: error/mysql-error-running.log When I view this the only information is this: ---------------------- END OF LOG ---------------------- How do I reinstate the elastic beanstalk site so that this can be used?
