Trying to create an DB and it is throwing this error

Question

Cannot create RDS instance

aws rds create-db-instance --db-instance-identifier odm_instance \
  --engine postgres --db-instance-class db.t3.large --allocated-storage 250 \
  --master-username odmAdmin --master-user-password password \
  --db-name rds_odm

An error occurred (InvalidSubnet) when calling the CreateDBInstance operation: No default subnet detected in VPC. Please contact AWS Support to recreate default Subnets.

Running , I can see it is running...:
 kubectl cluster-info
Kubernetes control plane is running at https://623AF17A6BE5700DF747F621E40290BA.gr7.us-east-1.eks.amazonaws.com
CoreDNS is running at https://623AF17A6BE5700DF747F621E40290BA.gr7.us-east-1.eks.amazonaws.com/api/v1/namespaces/kube-system/services/kube-dns:dns/proxy

As per the error message, you can recreate your default subnets [by following these instructions](https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/recreate-default-vpc).

Hi,

could you try adding the `-vpc-security-group-ids` setting? It should help to associate the RDS with the VPC where the datasource should be created.(https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/rds/create-db-instance.html)
