Login to the AWS access portal blocked by local machine PIN authenticator.

I type the correct username and password, but the PIN authenticator step, coupled to the current laptop I am using, is not appearing. I tried to use the FORGOT PASSWORD, but that is not working properly. The PIN authenticator has worked previously. It seems that it is not consistent.
