AWS Elastic Beanstalk platform branches cannot be upgraded/greyed out

Question

Hi,
 
 We are current;y runnings AWS Elastic Beanstalk Tomcat 8.5 with Corretto 11 on Amazon Linux 2 which has been retired and the Platform Branch dropdown is greyed out when I try to update it.
 
 Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

In this case you can try updating via the AWS or EB CLI, or use the clone/rebuild options within the console - see 
[EB platform support policy](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/platforms-support-policy.html). You can also consider using [blue/green deployments](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/using-features.CNAMESwap.html).
