And the reason I was asking is that seems like a generic email address; is that email address under your control or one of the ones you are trying to use? If not, then the only thing I can think of is that in the code you are using to send the email is must have that email address coded somewhere; I don't think it would be in the error message if it wasn't being passed into the service.

Yes, the email address is like a placeholder in the error message. The address is variable and is an unverified address. Currently I use the aws SDK to send the e-mail. There I do get the error.

This is probably an obvious answer; but is that a cut and paste of the exact error message? ie. does the error message contain that email address above: customeremail@email.com ?
I copied the Error message and the given email Address is also in the Error message included
Can you send to verified users? I have the same issue. I am out of the sandbox. I can send to verified identities. I cannot send to any unverified identities.
