Accidently left RDS on for 2 weeks and was charged $739. Got panicked and deleted the account in a rush. (Student)

I started learning AWS few weeks ago as it was a part of my college curriculum. Started RDS 2 weeks back and left the instance running from then till now. Today when I logged into my account I got to know that I have been charged $739 for the same without even using it knowingly. Looking at the price I was charged, I got panicked and deleted my account without thinking twice. What should I do now?

You can still contact AWS Support. Explain your situation, including that you're a student and new to AWS. AWS has been known to offer credits or adjust charges in cases where users are unaware of the costs incurred.

For future reference, set up billing alerts in AWS to notify you when your usage exceeds a certain threshold. This can help prevent unexpected charges.
