Beanstalk deployment fails to create Auto Scaling Group : You have requested more vCPU capacity than your current vCPU limit

0

Hi, I have a free tier account and I'm trying to deploy a Java spring boot application. Before deployment I ensured that no other EC2 instances nor any other Auto scaling group is running.

Below are the some of the options which I selected during the creation on Beanstalk application environment.

1) Instance selection

2) Auto Scaling Group options

3) Error in CloudFormation

Message : Group did not stabilize. Last scaling activity: You have requested more vCPU capacity than your current vCPU limit of 1 allows for the instance bucket that the specified instance type belongs to. Please visit

4) Creation of Support Ticket for service quota increase request Enter image description here

I'm not sure what else needs to be done here and would really appreciate any help on this issue

Hello.

As stated in the message from AWS Support, I believe that if you describe your use case for using ElasticBeanstalk in detail, they will increase your quota limit.
Please try replying to AWS Support explaining your use case.
