Hello,
Yesterday, I transferred a domain of mine from my one AWS account to another AWS account. Once the domain was transferred, I deleted the hosted zones for the domain in the old account, I created a certificate for the domain in ACM and added the CNAMES in the new account.
Normally, it only takes a few minutes for the validation to complete; however, it's been almost 24 hours.
When I run dig +short my_cname.example.com
, nothing is returned.
I suspect the domain transfer is what is causing the issue but not sure how to resolve it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have the exact same problem. I have tried different things. Made sure the
Name servers
property match the recently created hosted zone. Deleted the old hosted zone from previous AWS account, issued certificates, added CNAME records.. But stilldig +short _mysample.io
shows nothing. Is there anything else I should check?
I have even tried making the NS and SOA records match exactly the ones in the old account' hosted zone, but no luck.
UPDATE: Ok, after some minutes, it issued the certificate correctly. It was a matter of time. Thanks!
