I have 2 questions, 1. If a user account is suspended, disabled or deleted due to some reason, what is the affect on the AMIs that that user has created. 2. If there is an EC2 instance running with an AMI of another account, what happens to the EC2 if the AMI's owner's account is disabled?

Hi. 1.If Account closed after 90 days from suspension, you can not recover AMI permanently.AMI will not be able to access from other Account from suspension. 2. Running EC2 are not affected since data of AMI is already loaded to your Account's EBS. But you can not create new instance from that AMI.

Hi.

1.If Account closed after 90 days from suspension, you can not recover AMI permanently.AMI will not be able to access from other Account from suspension.

Running EC2 are not affected since data of AMI is already loaded to your Account's EBS. But you can not create new instance from that AMI.
