Amazon Workspace Client crashes before connecting to server

0

Hi, I cannot access our workspaces VM with the desktop client I installed on my IMac. The client works well in Windows, no problem with the server.

However, on my Imac, I downloaded the client, I log in with the credentials, everything is ok, the wheel is spinning, see screenshot here.

And then, just at the end when the connection needs to be established, it crashes and it gives me this error code (google doc link).

I am using IMac mi 2011 with High Sierra 10.13.6 installed.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

  • Thanks @AbhiAlate, but there is no such a folder for logs in my computer, and I cannot create it when I try. There is no Amazon Webservices folder in Application Support folder of my Mac.

  • Steps to get the logs:

    1. Start the client with higher verbosity: open -a workspaces --args -l3
    2. Recreate the issue
    3. Quit the client
    4. Logs are stored at: ~/Library/"Application Support"/"Amazon Web Services"/"Amazon WorkSpaces"/logs
    5. You can put those files in a compressed format

I have just followed your steps and tried through the terminal @AbhiAlate, but unfortunately, it doesn't create the logs. There is no folder created.
