Prevent Rewrite of Queries in Redshift

Is there any way to prevent Redshift from rewriting queries? It seems to be done random on data from S3 (external tables) without the query is changed in any way . Our reporting tool seems to have problems with these rewritten queries.

The query optimizer rewrites queries to provide the best execution possible. If you believe that some incorrect and random query rewrite is causing negative impact then kindly open up a Support Ticket for further investigation.
