History of registrar renewals

Question

Good afternoon,

We are in need of a complete history of domain registrar renewals for the past 10 years, for some of the domains we manage (for a legal matter).
We do not keep the email informing of a pending renewal, only the invoices emails (which themselves don't contain a reference to the domain, for some strange reason).

The Route53 "Registered Domains" section only allows us to download a csv for the past 12 months, there is no date selection mechanism. How can I select a span longer than that?

Hi,

You can get a billing report for longer time period using the AWS SDK/CLI. To use CLI directly from the AWS console please refer https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/aws-cloudshell-command-line-access-to-aws-resources/

The below command is what you would need. And shows a sample output.

Alternatively, the Route53 Domains console shows the domain original registration date and current expiration date. Would those together help? Since if I registered domain 10 years ago and still have it, it means it got auto-renewed in all the years in between.

THank you. I was hoping that the web interface would be able to list them all, but I had to go the CLI route.
Interestingly, it doesn't list the length of each renewal. I'm getting some strtange gaps in some domains, but I'm guessing it's because we renewed for longer than 1 year.
