Setting desired battery level

We are trying test our application in AWS Devicefarm. We have created Appium Java Testng tests, which would run on devicefarm real devices. We want to verify the battery usage when we use the app. We are planning to achieve this by comparing the battery levels at start and end of test. We are able to extract the device battery level using Appium, but in most cases the device appears to be in charging state. Is there a way to set the battery level in device farm or pick up devices which are not in charging state.
