Hi,
I get a blank page rather than an error message both when I browse to the domain name and when I browse to the DNS name for the Beanstalk application. This suggests that you changed the DNS configuration at some point and it's just a caching problem.
Scott
Thanks Scott,
I never actually touched the DNS info I am pretty sure.. so I am not sure about how on earth the DNS are different.
And by caching do you mean AWS caching? How can I flush that?
Hi,
I was thinking about either browser caching or DNS resolvers caching your name servers. Regardless of the cause, it's been resolved. I can see the populang.com website using both the domain name and the DNS name for your Beanstalk application.

Thanks Scott, but I am a little bit confused here because I cannot see the .com domain (the beanstalk url was always ok).. it still has the same error message
My machine is a linux mint and doesn't cache DNS
And I have tried to find the domain www.populang.com on other phones/tablets that had never searched for the URL and still the same error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.
Is it propagating or something if you can see it but we can't?
Hi,
www.populang.com doesn't work for me, either, but that's because there's no record for www.populang.com in your hosted zone.
I was thinking, in part, of DNS resolver caching, which is explained a bit in the topic "How Amazon Route 53 Routes Traffic for Your Domain" in the Route 53 Developer Guide:

Hey Scott,
all seems fine now thanks - I set up an Alias record for www.populang.com pointing to the elastic beanstalk and now i have access
Thanks
Adam
