Discounts can be obtained on AWS EC2 by using Reserved Instances or Savings Plans.
This can be done over a longer period of time and by paying the fee up front to get a larger discount.

thank you. Antoher question i am not able to solve. I would like to disable SMT on AMD processor (multithreading, virtual cores) For example, i have 1 physical core and 2 threads, 2 virtual cores. I would like to disable virtual cores, mantain only 1 physical core and 1 thread. Can i ?
