IoT Greengrass dependency checker does not recognize Java8
I am about to Install AWS Greengrass Core on a Raspberry Pi 3. I follow the instructions under https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v1/developerguide/module1.html
When running
sudo ./check_ggc_dependencies | more
the checker complains about Java 8 not being installed but I did run sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk before.
I tried various things like adding JAVA_HOME to /etc/environment, renaming binary,.... without success.
Anybody got an idea what to do here?

Hi Marco,
Please note you are using Greengrass v1 dependency checker. You should not install Greengrass V1 on devices as that version is EOL. Please install Greengrass v2 and use the following tester https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/device-tester-for-greengrass-ug.html
