[FlexMatch] Can we define comparison rule expansions by comparing attribute across player ?

0

Hello Flexmatch Team,

I didn't see anywhere mention that we could define relaxations on the comparison rule type by comparing the attributes of the players between them. For instance, in the rule DifferentCharacter in example 6, i would like to authorize an amount of duplicated characters according to the waiting time , like described below :

{
        "target": "rules[DifferentCharacter].maxCount",
        "steps": [{
            "waitTimeSeconds": 30,
            "value": 1
        }, {
            "waitTimeSeconds": 60,
            "value": 2
        }]
}

Thank you !

Hello! What i would recommend is assigning a value to players with the same character, say 1, and assigning a value to players with different characters, say 0. Then, as your expansion takes place, you can expand this value for the match as a whole to 1 from 0, allowing a single player with a duplicate character, then so on.
