Can 'Amazon Kinesis Video Streams WebRTC' store live stream video from a mobile device into S3?

If so, would that live stream from mobile device to S3 be considered to be a "signaling message"?

Hi,

It seems that "Amazon Kinesis Video Streams WebRTC ingestion", still in preview as of now, will be the solution to your requirements. See https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisvideostreams-webrtc-dg/latest/devguide/webrtc-ingestion.html

Amazon Kinesis Video Streams offers capabilities to stream video and audio
in real-time via WebRTC to the cloud for storage, playback, and analytical processing.

This page shows how to ingest the video (limited to 5 min during preview).

On your second question, this blog post https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/media/enabling-video-chats-using-amazon-kinesis-video-streams-for-webrtc/ has a very precise description on how to create such a signalling channel.

Best,

Didier
