Hi there!

When it comes to AWS Managed Microsoft AD directory, when sharing this directory with cross accounts, it does not share the entire configuration. AWS Identity Center must link to a Directory that is created in its own account.

It is also important to note that currently AWS Identity Center only supports 1 Identity Source per Organization. So should you wish to switch to a different source, the current configuration may be lost.

If you are referring to the "Connect Active Directory" console page, and not being able to list your AD there, this could be explained by the AD not having been configured in the "old" account, as these configurations exist on a per account basis. Additionally, the documentation following should help with this setup: Create your AWS Managed Microsoft AD directory

For further investigation I would recommend reaching out directly to AWS Support.
