I have mobile application and use AWS amplify to send sms for user registration. Right now we are facing some issue where without using mobile application there are lot of sms are sending through sns. How to prevent those kind to legitimate request to the server. Can't we add authentication to amplify where whoever having valid token or authentication.

Option 1: you can choose to update the registration to only accept email addresses. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/user-pool-settings-email-phone-verification.html
Option 2: You can opt to use Lambda pre-sign up triggers to do some validation and deny messages being sent if they don't meet the requirements (i.e. incorrect phone number) or only meeting your requirements (i.e. from specific countries only)
