Multiple users reporting black screen

I've tried rebooting all their workspaces, but that is not helping.

Why would multiple users all at once in different locations report a black screen on their workspace client?

This may be due to the internet outage in the north east US today.

Looks to be a problem with the latest version of the client, see other post:
