TLD's ".cloud" are not supported for Cognito Custom Domains

I tried to add a custom domain for Cognito service that ends with ".cloud", however it throws an error saying:

message: Custom domain is not a valid subdomain: Was not able to resolve the root domain, please ensure an A record exists for the root domain.

There are no such errors if I add ".io" or ".com". How this can be fixed?
