can I use AWS Cognito and Amplify to authenticate on-premise web application?

we have an on-premise REACT app, which will be in AWS in 2 or three years. but for now, can I use AWS Cognito and Amplify for authenticate/login/logout on-premise web applications? so that when we do move to AWS, we can just do up and lift?

Hi,

Yes, you can use Amazon Cognito to authenticate users of your on-premise React application, it does not need to be deployed in AWS. Take a look at the following tutorials that may help you:
