Steam Authenticator for Lambda

I want to make a website on S3+CloudFront+Lambda, where Lambdas check whether a user bought a game in Steam. For that, I need him to authorize through Steam. Steam supports OAuth 2.0 protocol, but not OpenID Connect. Is it possible to make users authenticate using Steam before my Lambda returns some result?

I would add an API Gateway in front of your Lambdas and authorize via a custom Authorizer. In that function you can check the Claims from Steam.
