- If the feature is not yet available for your account and region, deployments will still use the traditional linear stabilization approach.

Thanks for the detailed response, I've just seen the CloudFormation release notes so I expect to see it in a few days. The blog post didn't make it clear if the feature was rolling out or something that was "coming soon", hence my confusion.
