Anyone have any suggestions on using the slurm-gui ( sview) with pcluster3 ?
Problem: We have a modeller that wants to use slurm-gui to watch the slurm queue. I can install slurm-gui with yum (centos7) , but this installs the RedHat version of the slurm scheduler. And, then I have to hack the symbolic links to get the slrum scheduler to work again.
Is there a simpler way to install slurm-gui that doesn't require hacking up the OS ?
It we be nice if we could do something like this in the YAML:
DevSettings:
Cookbook:
ExtraChefAttributes: '{ "HeadNode" : { "slurm-gui_enabled" : "yes" } }'
