External Rest api call in python with lambda function

How to make external Rest api call in python with lambda function (to send the json result in a file in S) ?
Does anyone find and example to do it the best way. If possible without any unavailable import (import requests seems not available anymore).

Hi , If you do not want to use requests as a lambda layer you can use the standard library urllib.requesturllib See the examples here this is another post that might be useful .
You can specify the HTTP method parameter as seen here
