Do Savings Plan cover EC2 instances launched by Elastic Beanstalk service?

Hello, if I have Savings Plan do they also cover EC2 instances launched by Elastic Beanstalk service?

Hi Piotr,

yes, they are covered by Savings Plans as well. Elastic Beanstalk is just the service that launches the instances for you.

From https://aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/pricing/

There is no additional charge for AWS Elastic Beanstalk. You pay for AWS resources (e.g. EC2 instances or S3 buckets) you create to store and run your application. You only pay for what you use, as you use it; there are no minimum fees and no upfront commitments.

Elastic Beanstalk supports several Amazon EC2 instance purchasing options: On-Demand Instances, Reserved Instances, and Spot Instances.
